Types of scholarships (internal)
Internal scholarships at Taibah University for non-Saudi students residing in the Kingdom are of three types:

| Types | The student is granted a seat at the university. | The student is also granted a discounted rate according to the university's criteria and conditions | The student is granted a seat at the university in exchange for paying the tuition fees. |
| Admission Requirements | The student must obtain a weighted average of no less than 97%. | The student must obtain a weighted average of no less than 95% | The student must obtain a weighted average of less than 95%, provided that it is not less than the minimum required for admission of Saudi students into the same program. |
| Academic Programs | All specializations are available except health specializations. | All specializations are available except health specializations. | All specialties are available, including health specialties. |

Scholarships at Taibah University for non-Saudi students who do not reside in the Kingdom are of two types:
| External Scholarships | Fully Free External Scholarships | Paid External Scholarships |
| Types | The student gets all the benefits. | The student bears full financial responsibility for his studies. |
| Admission Requirements | According to the seats allocated for each nationality. | The student must obtain a weighted percentage of no less than 95%. |
| Academic Programs | All specializations are available except medical and health specializations. | Medical specialties are available (medicine, surgery, dentistry). |
